Our Commitment to Your Privacy

Welcome to FaceMax. This policy explains how we handle your information to provide you with our services. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how your data is used.

Information We Collect

To provide you with an accurate facial analysis, we collect the following information.

Your Photo

FaceMax uses your device's camera to take a photo of your face when you run a scan. That photo is sent securely to Google's AI service to generate your scores and improvement plan. We do not store your photo on our servers. It is used only for that single analysis and is discarded afterward.

Your Scores and Results

After each scan, your results are saved privately on your own device. This includes your scores, face shape, skin analysis, and improvement plan. None of this data leaves your phone unless you are actively running a new scan.

Scan History

Every scan you complete is saved on your device so you can track your progress over time. This history is stored only on your phone and is never uploaded to our servers.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app sends you reminders to scan regularly and keeps you updated on your progress. These reminders are generated on your device and are not shared with anyone.

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to power FaceMax's features, including:

- Analysing your photo to generate facial scores and a personalised improvement plan.

- Showing your scan history and tracking your progress over time.

- Sending you reminders to keep your streak going.

Information Sharing

We do not sell or share your personal data with any third parties.

The only time your data leaves your device is when your photo is sent to Google's AI during a scan. How Google handles that data is described in their privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Your Data and Deletion

Your scan history is stored on your device and is entirely under your control. You can delete individual scans or your entire history at any time from within the app. If you uninstall FaceMax, all your data is removed from your device.

Security

Your photo is sent to Google using a secure encrypted connection. Results saved on your device are protected by your phone's built-in security and are only accessible to FaceMax.
